Drone Roof Inspection / Survey – Chatham, Kent

After a period of particularly wet weather, the owner of a large industrial unit in Chatham contacted me to take some images of the roof to investigate the cause of some rain water leaking into the building.

There was no possible way to see the roof without the use of scaffolding or hiring machinery like a cherry picker. Both of these options would have been extremely expensive, and disruptive to the businesses operating from the property.

I was able to use the drone to take a series of high resolution images and videos of the roof, which enabled quotes and estimates to be made without anybody climbing onto the roof, and much more quickly than otherwise possible.

Within weeks, the necessary repairs had been made to the roof. Another great example of how the footage from a drone has saved the client money, time, has reduced risk of personal injury and minimised disruption to the business.
